General Information about proposals and exhibiting
The Exhibition
It is expected that artists will return the exhibiting space to its original condition where appropriate. inbetweenspaces will assist with minor repairs. Any further requirements will become the responsibility of the exhibitor.
Exhibition Costs
Depending on the rental costs of space, inbetweenspaces may charge a small exhibitors fee. This fee must be paid two weeks prior to the exhibition opening date.
Publicity
Digital Images (2-3 images in digital format, preferably JPGs, 300dpi,?15 cm x 10 cm, max 3 meg size)?? This publicity material should be emailed to the publicity team at inbetweenspaces: Sarah Byrne: sarah@inbetweenspaces.org??inbetweenspaces reserves the right to make the final selection of image supplied by the artists to appear on email invitation and website. Publicity material supplied by the artists may be edited for brevity and clarity.
Transport and Installation
The exhibitor will be solely and wholly responsible for the arrangement of, and costs involved in packing, installation, transportation and insurance of the work to and from the exhibition space.
Display of artwork
The exhibitor shall consult with inbetweenspaces and shall use its best endeavors to ensure that the artwork is displayed in a manner that is fair, accessible to the public and sympathetic to the artwork’s context.
Exhibitors’ duty of care
inbetweenspaces acknowledges that the work on exhibition remains the sole property of the exhibiting artist and that the work will be handled with due care so as to avoid damage or deterioration to the work which is not considered characteristic of the work.
Insurance and indemnity
The exhibitor understands and acknowledges that whilst all reasonable care and consideration will be taken with the handling, installation and display of the work whilst in the gallery’s charge, that inbetweenspaces (and its co-directors) will not be held responsible for any damage, theft, loss or destruction, or deterioration of the work which may occur during the period of the exhibition of the work. The exhibitor hereby accepts full responsibility for the insurance of the work for the entire duration of the exhibition.
Return of work
All works must be collected by the exhibitor after the close of the exhibition.
Acknowledgements
inbetweenspaces will acknowledge the exhibitor in all publicity of the exhibition. Publicity undertaken independently by the artist must acknowledge inbetweenspaces and display the inbetweenspaces logo (available by request through emailing infor@inbetweenspaces.org inbetweenspaces reserves the right to reproduce the exhibitors’ work in appropriate publicity.

just interested in your fresher cunts exhibition. was wondering if you knew what date it would be this year and if you have already chosen a space to hold the showcase?

Hi Alithea. Fresher Cunts 2010 opens 24 July. As of yet we have not confirmed a site, this normally occurs one month prior to the exhibition opening date.
Proposals are now being accepted and close May 14.
