Tim Woodward and Timothy P. Kerr are the next artists to take up space for a one night experimental project in the !Metro Arts building. Head up to studio 4.7, on level 4 of the !Metro Arts building on Wednesday 16 September at 6pm to check it out.
In conjunction with !Metro Arts, inbetweenspaces is organising a series of one-night exhibitions showcasing works that explore temporary, impermanent and experimental mode of practice. Responding to specific spatial-physical characteristics of the building, the artists are challenged to activate “in-between” areas by playing with spaces not currently used as exhibition sites.

For the first takingUpspace project, the directors of inbetweenspaces collaborated to arrange a series of light installations on fourth floor of the !Metro Arts building. Sarah, Ruth and Danielle were interested in highlighting the potential for other artists to play with these spaces in upcoming talkingUpspace projects.
